September 12            Registration Closes at 5 p.m..

October 1             All supplemental forms (received in separate email), fees from your INVOICE, and marked scripts are due to the Executive Director. Mail all materials to P.O. Box 361945, Birmingham, AL 35236-1945. NO REFUNDS are given once registration is confirmed online.

Hosted by the Alabama Center for the Arts, a partnership of Athens State University and Calhoun County Community College, on October 18-19. 2025.  Funded in part by a grant from the Alabama Council on the Arts

Hosted by Alabama Center for the Arts’ Professor of Theatre & English Hugh Long, PhD and Production Director William Richardson.  Coordinated by Alabama Conference of Theatre’s (ACT) Cindy Harper, Executive Director, Kim Mason, Chair, Community Theatre, and Jessica Rush, Vice Chair, Community Theatre, and Lisa Ponder, Past Chair, Community Theatre.  Adjudicators were Adam M. Miller (Tuscaloosa), Gary Weatherly (Birmingham) and Lynn Nelson (Tupelo, MS).  

Workshops included: Marketing for Community Theatre, Jessica and Tony Rush; Musical Moves: Quick Tips for Big Impact in Dance, Michelle Sleigh; QLab in Action: Sound, Lights, and Projection for Live Theatre, Marty Higgenbotham; Meisner 101, Billy Hutto; and Setting Your Stage: Intimate Storytelling with Intention, Rebecca Bailey.
