Trumbauer Jr. Elementary & Middle School Theatre Festival – Montgomery

The Trumbauer Jr. Elementary and Middle School Festival celebrates excellence in Alabama’s Community and School drama/theatre programs by providing students a venue for exhibition, competition, and observation of theatre in action.

In 2026, there will be three festivals around the state, so participants may choose the festival that will be most convenient to attend. The festival is open to all community and school theatre programs with students in grades 4-8. Classroom teachers and community youth theatre program sponsors may register individuals, duets, and groups. Individual students may be registered in NO MORE THAN TWO INDIVIDUAL EVENTS, and up to one group event. Individual students may not register
themselves. They must be registered as a school or community theatre program member.
