SUMMARY:2024 Theatre for Youth Festival - Scottsboro
DESCRIPTION:The Theatre for Youth Middle School Festival celebrates excellence in Alabama’s Community and School drama/theatre programs by allowing students a venue for exhibition\, competition\, and observation of theatre in action. \nIn 2024\, there will be two festivals\, held a week apart in different parts of the state\, so participants may choose the festival which will be most convenient to attend. The festival is open to all community and school theatre programs with grades 4-8 students. Classroom teachers and community youth theatre program sponsors may register individuals\, duets\, and groups. Individual students may be registered in NO MORE THAN TWO INDIVIDUAL EVENTS\, and up to one group event. Individual students may not register\nthemselves. They must be registered as a school or community theatre program member. \nREGISTRATION DEADLINE: February 2\, 2024
